Framer - Carpenter
Pay Rate
$24.00 / hour
Hours of Work
30 to 50 hours per week
Early morning, Flexible hours, Morning, On call, Day, Weekend, Overtime

Roles & Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Instruct and supervise 1–2 apprentices
Requirements
Secondary school diploma, 1–2 years experience, own transportation, steel-toed safety boots, criminal record check.

Residential Construction Supervisor
Pay Rate
$32.50 / hour
Hours of Work
30 to 40 hours per week
Early morning, Shift, Flexible hours, Morning, On call, Day, Weekend
Benefits

Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise workers and projects on residential construction sites
- Co-ordinate and schedule daily activities
- Train staff or arrange for training
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Direct and control daily operations — supervises 5–10 people
Requirements
Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience, 1–2 years experience, valid driver's licence, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses.
